The Austrian rail freight haulier has added more round-trips to its services connecting Austria with Belgium and Sweden.
The recently launched TransFER wagonload connection from Linz to Malmö via Rheinkamp (and back from Sweden to Wels) now offers three weekly runs. The transit time amounts to two and a half days. Rail Cargo Group says that the increased demand for transporting steel, paper, and consumer products is behind enhancing the service. Dangerous goods can also be sent with TransFER Linz-Malmö.
Next, the one day transit time TransFER Linz-Antwerp service has received additional departures, six per week now. The extra demand comes from the steel, chemical, mineral oil, paper, and building materials sectors.
