HyCC and the port authority are working on the H2era project, a 500 MW green hydrogen electrolysis production plant to be located in the Dutch seaport.

The two have completed the first feasibility study and moved to a pre-front end engineering and design study phase.

H2era is intended to start operating in 2027.

With the Port of Amsterdam and Tata Steel, HyCC is also working on H2ermes, a 100 MW plant in IJmuiden. Here, the first supply of green hydrogen is planned for 2025.
