The Icelandic and Greenlandic shipping lines have partnered to jointly offer a service connecting the islands of Iceland and Greenland with a number of Baltic seaports.
The Faroese shipping company has taken over from Bore the ro-ro vessel Bore Bank, which under a new name, Akranes, will sail between the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Denmark.
The company has introduced a new connection that links a number of ports in the Baltic with Norway, with a further option to go the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
The Tórshavn-based shipping line has started constructing a storage and administration building in the Port of Hirtshals, next to the Nordsø Terminal and Containerkajen.
