The new cruise ship, of identical design to the new Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, is scheduled to be ready in 2023.

The 315 m long Mein Schiff 7 will offer room for 2,894 passengers. Her sister ships are to leave the yard in May 2018 and later in 2019.

"We are very thankful that TUI Cruises is entrusting us with building another ship to their fleet of modern and beautiful Mein Schiffs. It will bring further good work to Turku shipyard as well as the Finnish maritime cluster. This is what we are preparing for with our recruitments and investments," Jan Meyer, CEO, Meyer Turku, commented.
