The Finnish shipping line underwent an assessment carried out by the world's largest provider of business sustainability ratings.

ESL Shipping ranked in the top 8% in its sector and the top 6% regarding the environment.

Apart from scrutinising environmental issues, such as sustainable procurement, EcoVadis also reviews labour & human rights and other ethical considerations.

"Sustainability has been an integral part of our strategy for years and we are confident that with the formal assessment of our performance, we can
