The facility, operated by Associated Danish Ports, will get a 97k m2 warehouse, upping its total storage space to over 200k m2 (and 300k m2 after adding other logistics premises).
DS Flexhal has been commissioned to erect the DKK620m investment (about €83m) by mid-2024.
The warehouse will have an internal height of 12.5 m and will be split into 5,000 m2 units, each with nine gates. Lallemand Denmark has already reserved 11k m2.
Taulov Dry Port's warehouse capacity building started from 49.3k m2 (for whom DS Flexhal was too responsible), with a further 60k m2 to be added this spring.
The new warehouse will be constructed according to the DNGB Gold sustainable construction standard.
