The German and Swedish seaports have been granted €12m within the joint Rail-IT-MoS project.

The Port of Trelleborg, which will coordinate the initiative, has received €8.0m to complete the eastern part of the port, including asphalting, filling, paving layers, channelling, installing of electricity, IT, and telecom equipment as well as lighting masts in three selected areas.

The Port of Rostock will use the funds to streamline & rebuild its existing railway infrastructure.
