Scandinavian Medical Solutions, a sales provider of high-quality pre-owned medical imaging equipment, has leased 1,263 square metres of warehouse facilities and 153 m2 of office space.
Jens Hvid Paulsen, CEO of Scandinavian Medical Solutions, highlighted:
For some time now, we have been looking for suitable storage facilities for our mobile units and modules. These are our mobile scanning clinics that are ready to be used when our customers need additional scanning capacity. The units are transported by truck, so they can easily be moved around large parts of the world. But when they are not in use, they need to be prepared and maintained on an ongoing basis, preferably in dry weather. The two new warehouses meet this need.
He furthered:
Our requirements for the new warehouse facilities were that they could accommodate our large equipment and that they were close to our office. We found this with the warehouse in the general cargo area, which is just across the road.
Jeppe Faber, Senior Commercial Manager, Real Estate, the Port of Aalborg, commented:
Due to the high level of interest, we have significantly expanded our storage capacity in recent years. Most recently by 10,000 square meters last year [up to 175k m2]. Today, warehouse facilities are used by a wide variety of companies for a wide variety of purposes. Fortunately, our facilities all support the companies' growth and business, just like Scandinavian Medical Solutions.
