The manufacturer has signed contracts with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard to supply ro-ro equipment for the Lübeck-based shipping line's two brand-new hybrid ferries.

Once deployed in the southern Baltic (the first vessel is expected to enter service before the summer of 2030), each 240-metre-long Green Ship 2.0 will offer room for 1,000 passengers and 5,400 lane metres of cargo capacity. Like the previous generation, the newbuilds will run on gas.
