The 868-TEU capacity Dina Trader now connects Zeebrugge and Helsingborg with APM Terminals' facility in the Danish seaport on a weekly basis within the Belgium-Scandinavia Express (BSX) service.
"With Diamond Line's new service, Danish businesses gain a stronger and more direct connection to global markets. The service supports more resilient supply chains and contributes to growth, activity, and jobs, benefiting both Aarhus and Denmark as a whole," said Ulrik Andersen, the Port of Aarhus' CEO.
His counterpart at APM Terminals Denmark, Kåre Spange, also commented, "We are very pleased to welcome Diamond Line's new service to Aarhus. This agreement enhances Aarhus' connectivity to key European markets and supports our ambition to be Denmark's preferred gateway for containerised trade."
The Hamburg-based Diamond Line is a daughter company of the European chapter of COSCO SHIPPING Lines.
