The two Turku-based companies will provide the basic and detail design as well as shipyard site services during the construction of the vessel.
The ship, second in the Global-class series, will be built at MV Werften's yards in Wismar and Rostock. Once completed and delivered into the Asian market, the GT 204k-big, 342 m-long, and 46.4 m-wide cruiser will be able to take on-board 9.5k passengers.
The contracts signed with Deltamarin and Elomatic are worth €16.5m and €17m, respectively. The two companies also did a large part of the basic and detail design of the first Global-class vessel.
MV Werften, part of the Kuala Lumpur-headquartered Genting Group, comprises three shipyards in the Baltic - apart from the two mentioned above also in Stralsund.
