The Swedish shipping company has again entrusted the Chinese Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding with the delivery of dual-fuel chemical and oil products tankers.
The two 15,000 dwt newbuildings, to run on either liquefied natural gas or liquefied biogas, will be additionally equipped with battery systems as well as will be able to plug into onshore power supply.
The two tankers are scheduled to enter into service across the Baltic and North Seas in 2021.
Terntank's deal with Avic includes an option for two more sister ships.
