The Japanese company, part of the NYK Group, has leased 12.5k m2 of warehousing space in Goodman's Pomeranian Logistics Centre (PLC).
"[…] The presence in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk will certainly facilitate the implementation of comprehensive processes in the area of maritime forwarding and contract logistics and will positively affect the further development of the company's business. All the more so as the investment is located right next to the Container Port in Gdańsk, which will be very convenient for the majority of Yusen's business partners," Ludwika Korzeniowska, Business Development Manager in Industrial Agency, JLL (a company that advised Yusen Logistics on the process of searching for an optimal location and negotiating contract terms), commented.
Jarosław Czechowicz, Country Manager, Goodman Poland, added, "The Pomeranian Logistics Centre continues to develop thanks to the great interest shown by customers such as Yusen - who require excellent access to the international transport network. We are currently constructing another 25,000 m2 building on the location, which is being developed in accordance with the highest Goodman standards and BREEAM Very Good requirements. We still have a land bank in the vicinity of the existing halls, which will allow us to expand the park to almost half a million square meters of modern logistic space."
