According to the agreement signed between Polskie LNG and the Port of Szczecin-Świnoujście, the LNG facility will be enlarged for another quay.

The decision to develop the terminal is based on a feasibility study made in August. The second quay is planned to be officially open in 2021. 

"This investment can make Świnoujście a Baltic's LNG leader. Constructing another quay will allow for loading/unloading tankers of smaller and medium class, transshipment, as well as bunkering," Dariusz Słaboszewski, President of the Board, Port of Szczecin-Świnoujście, said.
