The Rotterdam-based scale-up will create digital twins of the British shipping line's chartered fleet for better environmental performance.

The digital twins will combine the vessels' technical characteristics with other data sources (ship speed, draught, weather conditions, wave height, currents, and wind) to monitor in real-time the fuel consumption and carbon emissions of P&O Ferries' chartered fleet.

We4Sea's solution does not require the installation of hardware on-board.
