Budimex and Dredging International have started working on Baltic Hub's new quay: 717 m long and 17.5 m deep, covering 36.5 ha.
Operationally, T3 will come online at the end of 2024's first half, while the full commissioning is planned for Q2 2025.
The expansion will add 1.7m TEUs of yearly handling capacity to the terminal's current 3.0m.
The new facility's traffic will be handled by eight ship-to-shore cranes and 28 semi-automated rail-mounted gantries.
