The Swedish seaport's cargo-handling fleet has been reinforced with a Konecranes reachstacker of the SMV 4538 CCX4 model that can lift 45t.

The new equipment - to run on hydrotreated vegetable oil - has been deployed on Trelleborg's intermodal terminal, joining two other reachstackers from Konecranes.

"Intermodal traffic has developed significantly over the past years, so it's crucial for us to retain our leading intermodal node position. We have been very pleased with Konecranes machines, so we are confident that our new reachstacker we have invested in will help us continue providing quality and sustainable operations to customers," Thomas Ter-Borch, Trelleborg's Port Operations Manager, said.
