Stena Line has chartered the ferry to Intershipping from Morocco, which will employ her across the Algeciras-Tanger Med 1.5 hours crossing for two months till mid-August 2023.

Stena Vinga offers room for 400 passengers and 1,538 lane metres (lm) for cargo.

The ship will continue to fly the Swedish flag as well as retain many of its crew (the shop and restaurant personnel will be hired from the locals).

Stena Line planned to put Stena Vinga on the Frederikshavn-Gothenburg service for the high season. Stena Danica (2,274 pax/1,640 lm) and Stena Jutlandica (1,500 pax/2,100 lm) will sail more frequently to compensate for the lost capacity.
