The Danish shipowner has entrusted the Chinese New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding with delivering eight dual-fuel chemical tankers.

The shipbuilder, which also provided the tanker design, will supply the 6,800-tonne deadweight vessels in 2026.

The newbuilds will join M.H. Simonsen's fleet of 14 chemical tankers (primarily used for shipping vegetable, edible oils in Europe).
