St. Helen is the first tanker in history that carried US crude oil to Poland, bringing on November 9th a total of 80,000 tn bought by LOTOS.  

"This is the first, and not the last purchase of American oil for the refinery in Gdańsk. In each case, a purchase is conditioned both economically, and technologically," Marcin Jastrzębski, President of the Board, LOTOS, said.
