While dry bulk, the Latvian seaport's leading trade, advanced by 4.4% year-on-year to 2.26mt, general cargo contracted by 11.3% yoy to 812.9kt and liquid bulk by 20.1% yoy to 140.3kt.
Whereas the handling of trucks & trailers contracted by 3.2% year-on-year to 219,648 units, more railcars went over the Swedish port's quays, up 81.3% yoy to 6,178 wagons.
