Transhipment volumes totted up to 0.7m twenty-foot containers, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year, while hinterland traffic amounted to 1.4m TEUs, up by 0.7% on the Q1 2020 result.
Some 3.03mt of dry bulk went through the Latvian port's quays, a decrease of 18.5% year-on-year, followed by 1.72mt of general cargo (-9.7% yoy), and 644.9kt of liquid bulk (-13.3% yoy).
