The first works will cover the demolition of four buildings and an electrical substation across the Polskie Quay.
After the area has been cleared, the new facility will be set up within two and a half-three years at the expense of approx. PLN 200m (ca. EUR 48m), with the help of EU funds.
Once in place, ships up to 240 m long will be able to call at the terminal, to be equipped with a two level ro-ro ramp, a warehouse, as well as with a road- and rail-linked manoeuvring area.
A brand-new terminal building will be constructed as well, together with a passenger gangway.
