Stena Line, the Municipality of Frederikshavn, and the Port of Frederikshavn have agreed to make Frederikshavn-Gothenburg the world's first fossil fuel-free ferry service of its kind.
According to the terminal operator, the completion of the £300m investment will "coincide with the delivery of a new wave of 24,000 TEU vessels in 2023/2024, which will all be operated between Asia and Europe."
