The Hedehusene-headquartered transport & logistics company will add 100k m2 of warehouse capacity to its logistics centre in the Belgian port.
The facility, covering 18 ha at the Kluizendok, will include several temperature-controlled storage areas, ranging from 8 to -80 centigrades.
"This BREEAM-certified expansion in Ghent enables us at DSV to achieve our growth in a sustainable way and to provide our customers with state-of-the art warehousing and Value Added Logistics within healthcare and other target groups in the long term. Additionally, it will provide a strong impulse for employment and economic development in the region," Peter van der Maas, EVP, DSV, commented.
