The Swedish ferry line will increase the number of port departures by half, as well as extend the period during which the service will be active.

This year, the Västervik-Visby link will be in place from 1 June to 20 August (last year it was 22 June-14 August).

"It is incredibly satisfying that we can introduce this new arrangement, which not only entails more sailings overall, but also a lot of departures that will actually suit Gotlanders who fancy to use the route for a weekend trip, for instance to Västervik or to experience Astrid Lindgren's World, or those who want to go further south," Christer Bruzelius, CEO, Destination Gotland, commented.
