Slated for commissioning in December 2025, the port-located Pet Science Develop factory will produce 10 thousand tonnes of quality dog & cat food in the first phase, up to 20kt/year in 2027.
The seaport in Ventspils will be used to export most of the production from the €15+ million investment.
"With this project, we aim to strengthen Latvia's position in the European premium pet food market. We see rapidly growing demand, and our goal is to offer healthy, safe, and competitive products," commented Normunds Brīnums, CEO of Pet Science Develop.
