The contract covers the modernization of the fairway, and extension of the quays in the Obrońcy Poczty Polskiej Quay area (to 391 m from the existing 345 m, and the quay's depth will be changed to 11.2 m, too), while Mew Quay will be able to accommodate smaller vessels up to 5.4 m of draft, all at the total length of 5.0 km. Works shall be completed by 2020's end.  

The contract is a part of a bigger  EUR 140 mln investment, encompassing among many modernization of rail and road network, as well as port's fairways and quays.
