On 16 November 2023, Terntank's Tern Fors drew electricity from the shore, marking a new milestone for the development of onshore power supply (OPS) in seaports.
The CNetSS project, led by Växjö Energi, has chosen the main alternative for interim storage of carbon dioxide before transport to final depot: Copenhagen Malmö Port's (CMP) Norra Hamnen.
The company's battery-driven Aurora and Tycho Brahe are now equipped with four 150kW chargers, which can provide eight vehicles with green electricity.
