The company’s ferries Skåne and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have inaugurated the usage of the onshore power supply (OPS) facility which was recently installed at the Port of Trelleborg.
During the 2017 cruise shipping season, which ended for the Port of Kiel on October 21st, a new all-time high of 513,500 cruise travellers was hit by the German seaport.
During this year's season, the country's seaports handled a total of 311 cruise ship calls (incl. intra-Baltic liner traffic cruise ferries), with 564,300 travellers on-board the vessels.
Sweden's capital port, together with Nynäshamn, has marked a new record of cruise ship passenger visits - a total of 600 thou. travellers were served during this year's season.
Within the next three years, the company will spend around EUR 65 mln (PLN 280 mln) on upgrading its container terminal, which already nowadays handles the largest number of TEUs in the Baltic.
